What will you do

A journey through time, through the history of yesterday and today, towards the future. The Maranello Museum tells the story of Ferrari by sinking its roots into the extraordinary history of the Prancing Horse and guiding the visitor on an emotional journey among the most famous and victorious F1 Ferraris, the legendary models of Sport Prototypes and Gran Turismo without forgetting the road cars that are which have become an iconic reference in the automotive world over the years.

Ferrari Store:
The Museum houses a shop offering a vast range of official products and a bookstore which collects the most important Ferrari publications.

What is not included

The Guide is not included in the cost of the ticket, but can possibly be purchased in the cart. The Guide is personal, has a fixed cost, but can be used up to groups of 25 people and will be confirmed, subject to availability, after booking.

Outside the museum area, you can experience the magic of driving a semi-professional simulator inspired by a Ferrari F1 single-seater. You can choose to drive on some of the most famous circuits: Monza, Barcelona, Silverstone, Imola, Nürbürgring, Zandvoort, SPA Francorchamps and Mugello. The experience will be absolutely realistic because you will perceive the road surface, the car's reaction when it climbs the curbs and, above all, an extraordinary sensitivity to acceleration and braking, experiencing the thrill of speed at the wheel of highly sophisticated vehicles.

  • Are the prices always the same even if the date changes?
Prices vary based on various factors which may be seasonal, day of the week, occupancy status of the hotel, promotions, particular fairs in the city and more. The advice, to see the prices, is to enter the dates of your stay and make your own comparisons.
  • Is breakfast always included?
No, it depends on the rate and whether the structure is organized to offer it or not. Check carefully before booking what is included and what is not and what type of service is offered.
  • Can I make special requests?
Of course, when booking you will have a field where you can write directly to the property and make your requests. These will be evaluated by the Hotel who will respond directly to you. MeTour is not responsible in this decision-making process.
  • What types of beds will I find in the room I booked?
The type of bed is usually specified in the room sheet. If you have any special requests or needs you can indicate them at the time of booking by writing them in the "special requests" field which will be forwarded directly to the property. In this process MeTour is not responsible.
  • What is Paga in Structural and what are Payment Pre-Authorisations?
When you book, some facilities offer the possibility of paying directly at the facility. In these cases you will simply be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the booking, but without any charge. The sum will be taken from your credit card only in the cases provided for by the policies and conditions relating to your booking. In other cases, when the Partner does not adopt automatic availability and booking systems, but confirms reservations "manually", then you will be asked to insert your credit (or debit) card to guarantee the reservation, and then be directly charged at the same time as the Partner confirms the booking (within 24-48 hours). At that moment you will receive an email with the booking confirmation and payment.
  • How do I know if my card has been pre-authorized?
By consulting your credit card balance you will see that your available balance will be temporarily reduced by the amount of your booking. In other cases and depending on the policy of your credit card circuit, you may also find an entry in the monthly summary of card movements: "pending operation". The pre-authorization block, depending on the situation, will be maintained according to the policies and terms and conditions of what has been booked.
  • How can I cancel or change my booking?
Easy, enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can modify or cancel your booking. Remember that changing dates or canceling with a refund request depends on the rate you chose when booking.
  • Can I transfer my reservation to another person?
For this request, contact the property directly which may have a specific policy in this regard or may need further data on the person to whom you want to transfer the booking.
  • How can I get help with my booking?
Enter the customer area with your credentials and from there you can contact us or by writing through our contact form specifying your booking number and the reason for the contact request. We recommend that you also leave a telephone number where you can be reached in case of need.
  • Are there taxes, local charges or extras to be paid directly on site?
They are normally clearly indicated in the property sheet or added during the booking phase depending on local regulations or the facility's policies. But even if not clearly indicated, payments may be requested directly to the facility for any tourist taxes, local charges or extras not included in the rate. The advice is to read everything carefully before booking or writing to us through our contact form.
  • Are small pets allowed?
It is often clearly stated in the property sheet and for this reason we invite you to carefully read their policies. Where not indicated, we invite you to contact us through our contact form for more information.

The legacy of Enzo.
Great museum reflecting on the cars and the legacy of Enzo Ferrari! Great experience. Cafe staff was rude and served everyone around us but not us.

Ferrari - rip off
The museum itself was impressive but there were a few things which marred our experience. At the cafe there was one toilet for everyone - men and women, so obviously there was a very long queue. Inside the museum there was only one toilet with an equally long queue. For this number of visits the facilities need to be improved. Also, it felt like a bit of an exploitative experience as you had to pay for the special bus to get there after having paid a high entrance fee, it was then around 20 Euros to buy a photo of yourself in a Ferrari, another large fee for going on the simulator which was little more than what you can do at home yourself on a computer game, more again to go on the factory tour. All in all it felt a bit of a rip off.

Fun Day Trip from Florence
Taking the shuttle from the museum in Modena was a little confusing. There weren’t clear directions from the front desk or clearly marked areas outside for the pick up location. The museum itself was fun. I’m not a big Ferrari or race car/F1 fan but I did enjoy seeing the cars and how things have evolved over the years. I think this is a great place to visit with kids and definitely the place to visit for fans! At the end of the museum, there is a race car simulator you can pay to use. This was also an easy day trip from Florence!

Bien mais...
Est-ce un beau musée ? Oui. A faire ? Oui !

A MUST !
From my point of view, the Ferrari museum is a must if you are in Italy and near Maranello
For example, we visited the museum on our way from Florence and reserved a whole day of our vacation for this.
I for one would put the Ferrari Museum in the compulsory curriculum of Italian schools because only on the surface it is a museum of luxury cars. In fact, it is a trip through the recent history of Italian technical excellence and what it means to be a trailblazer in such a globally competitive area
Enzo Ferrari's words: those who will come after me have only to continue with passion and determination the open road to excellence!
I think that even for those who do not have a passion for cars, the technological evolution that they can see there (supported by the results from the competitions) is impressive. And if that comes with a superb design and the result is a luxury sports car then... all the better!

Worth a stop in Maranello
Definitely a must see if you have a chance to visit Maranello.

Keep in mind this is more focused on Ferrari cars first and then transitions to the Motorsports history. There’s a lot of eye candy with various generations of vehicles on display.

Plenty of vintage racing cars that put Ferrari on the map prior to F1 as well. My only complaint is the gift shop and how tiny it is with the crowds it attracts. The checkout line takes forever to get through.

Adicionalmente a 1 cuadra podes almorzar en Stop & Go unas hamburguesas/paninis o pizzas geniales a buen precio.

Sehenswertes Museum
